I called Desert Diamond after a home inspection showed heating unit not working correctly. They got someone out the same day. Phillip was very responsive and professional. He let me know when he arrived since the home was empty, and promptly notified me with his findings. Thank goodness the issue was minor incorrect thermostat wiring, but he explained and fixed the issue quickly. Next time I need a thermostat replaced, I will call Desert Diamond and not use a handyman.

My other service company didn’t meet my expectations, so I called Desert Diamond. Desert Diamond came out and service my A/C unit… Hayden and Desert Diamond exceed my exceptions… Hayden, the service technician was very informative and descriptive about the issues and fixed them… I will be using Desert Diamond in the future for all my heating and cooling needs!!!

They were asked several times to remove me from their telemarketing list and were only rude and arrogant.

Great quality, professional, organized, clean. I doubt they are the cheapest in town, but they the highest quality I would bet. I wouldn’t choose anyone else.

Ismael did a great job. He took photos and explained everything in a way that made sense. However I was quoted $445 for a replacement capacitor. Its a $30 part takes at most 30 minutes of labor. Im not sure that price makes sense.However, just for the tuneup it was a reasonable price and I got a lot of good information out of it. Just wish their reports were a little more detailed and came with photos. I can definitely recommend them for a tuneup

Tristan was very professional, thorough, and courteous. He took the time to explain everything in a very helpful manner. On a scale of 1-10 I would give him an 11.

This is the experience that convinced me to stay away from these bigger companies.Had them come out for routine maintenance and all they did was recommend multiple $400+ replacement parts for my units (capacitors and contactors). Showing me pictures of readings on them and saying those readings indicate the parts are on their way out. Trying to drive urgency by telling me I don’t want them going out in the summer so I should replace them now.A capacitor is a $20 part and is an easy replacement taking 15-30 mins. Hardest part is taking the proper safety precautions because you’re dealing with electricity. Do the math on that, they’re essentially charging $800 an hour for labor/overhead.Worse, I changed the capacitor myself 1 year later when my AC breaker was having issues at the electrical box, thinking it could be the capacitor. The old capacitor ended up being in perfect condition with readings perfectly in spec. Meaning, either their tech didn’t know how to take readings properly…or he purposely showed me bad readings to convince me to pay for a new one.Which makes me wonder how many people they’ve tricked who don’t take the time to challenge what they’re explaining to you.To top it off I had an independent guy out a year later for maintenance and he noticed numerous little things desert diamond either missed or ignored that he took care of under the basic maintenance visit. He also told me the contactors are in great condition and didn’t understand why they were being recommended for replacement.Could go on and highlight things like them not putting things back together properly after a duct cleaning which required them to come back out to get my AC working again. But hopefully you get the point.

INSTALLATION: 4-22-2026: Shawn and Alex did a great job installing my new DAIKIN AC unit They were professional, patient, respectful of my property and knowledgeable about the unit. They explained how the thermostat works, answered my questions, and made sure the install was perfect before leaving.I do wish they'd worn shoe covers as the estimate guy Craig did. Also, the crane (3rd party vendor) was almost FIVE hours late - not their fault, but this did slow the project's progress. Alex and Shawn, made the most of their time, did all the pre-installation / setup work on my roof while waiting for the crane to arrive.The DAIKIN unit is running quietly & smoothly. Next week another employee will inspect the installation to ensure all was done correctly and the unit is running per spec. NO AC company has ever done that, and I'm most grateful. Five stars all the way!----------------------------PROPOSAL & ESTIMATE 4-14-2026: Craig O. came to my house to estimate the costs of a new A/C unit. He patiently, knowledgeably answered all my questions, explained my options carefully & wore shoe covers to keep my carpet clean. Craig's expertise in this field was obvious, he's a wonderful ambassador for his employer, too. I can't recall when I enjoyed an A/C installation estimate visit more; there was no pressure, no stress for me. I HIGHLY recommend Craig, he knows all aspects of A/C - heat pump units.

When I first dealt with desert diamond ac I worked with Steve. I enjoyed and felt comfortable with him. He was very knowledgeable and easy to get along with. I bought “top of the line” Trane system because of how long it was supposed to last. It has been relatively problem free. Now at the end of warranty major problems. New salesman NOT HELPFUL. He said So sorry I bought a top dollar system that did not last though warranty, just bad luck. It is “fixable” , but would be better ( assuming for him) if I bought a new system. When I asked for quote to fix this unit he wanted to charge me $89 for a quote. That is TOTALLY unacceptable! I don’t know who’s policy this is but I can get lots of quotes for free when they have to come look at the unit. Desert diamond should have been able to give me a repair or replace quote ON THE SPOT, not charge for repairs quote. I feel I was getting railroaded into buying a new system. Horrible customer service!

My tech Johaan was here early, fixed the issue with my ac not blowing cold air quick, super friendly and respectful. I couldn't ask for better service!

Craig was amazing to work with! When I found out that the coils were rusted out and leaking freon in my old Amana AC unit, I made many calls to many AC companies to get quotes on repairing versus replacing the unit. Craig was one of the only people to call and provide a quote for a new AC unit over the phone. When I called him to come out to finalize the quote, it was spot on from the original quote he provided over the phone. He took the time to ask me my concerns on my current AC set up and provided solutions to those concerns. He thoroughly explained everything they were going to do. He gave me the choice of a 10% discount off the AC unit or a 10 year labor warranty. He was also able to get me 0% interest for 3 years. He was able to get me the best price for a higher model Trane than any other company I called. He was even able to accommodate a last minute schedule change for when the weather was cooler.

Timothy was very thorough and glad to answer any questions that I had.

I wanted a locally owned HVAC company to do AC service ahead of summer. God knows how hot it can be here in summer. I was pleased to experience the honest service offered by Desert Diamond Air. Dominic arrived as scheduled, did the service checks and kept me informed about my 9 year old system performance discussing improvements with pictures before and after. I was impressed by his honesty. After he had installed a part that did not improve function he showed me that it made no difference and then removed it. I opted to sign up for the service plan. I have no hesitation in recommending Desert Diamond to anyone.

In the past, we’ve always had to use different AC companies due to poor quality service, but this is now our second year with Desert Diamond AC and the difference has been night and day.Both Daniel C and the prior service technicians we had have been excellent. During this most recent maintenance visit, Daniel replaced a capacitor and took the time to clearly explain what he was doing and why it was needed. I really appreciated how informative and educational he was throughout the process. He also provided pictures, which made everything easy to understand and gave me confidence in the work being done.Every experience we’ve had with this company has been positive—professional, thorough, and very pleasant.
