The technician Ismael professional and friendly. He was there to do regular maintenance. He’s.been to my house previously and he knows my system. Another company had “repaired” AC condensation line leak and stripped the threads a week ago. Would not come back to correct their work! Diamond came out the same day to my assistance. Tested and retested to be sure leak fix would hold until I get with my insurance company to authorize a more expensive repair. Our technician was Eddie he took pictures and explained everything. The lovely customer service lady was great to work with as well.

Daniel was the tech that came out and he didn’t an excellent job answering all my questions and concerns. This is probably the first time that I can recall where all my issues were finally resolved. Also, thanks to the service manager Dakota who not only was accessible to review my concerns but got me on the schedule rather quickly to have them resolved.

Our AC went out Friday night and they were here in about an hour and got the AC running again.Always exceptional service.

Today we had an A/C inspection done by Daniel. We have 2 inspections a year so we can stay on top of any problems. Daniel was prompt, very nice and was thorough.It's awesome to have a company that does such a good job and is never pushy. Their service contract is awesome and we definitely believe it saves on repairs and head aches. It's reasonably priced and saves us money when we DO need any repairs. We totally trust this company and also appreciate their service people and office personnel.

It started with Cody three years ago doing PM on our system and pointing out flaws that I was aware of, but at the time we could not afford as a secondary home, but after selling our primary home , our secondary became our primary home. After being told Cody was no longer doing PM's in the field (promotion ) they scheduled Steve to do our PM's where he also suggested an APS audit which we did, and the independent contractor, Jason, did a fabulous job. At the end of his whole house audit ( in and out up and down ) he showed us a video of his findings, wow! This same information was sent to Desert Diamond, where Steve returned to us and explained the same results. At this time , we were ready to make some changes. This was now going to be our house year round. Without going into detail of all we had done ( lack of space) we did major improvements and could not be happier. Service was exceptional, attitudes were great, explanations were given when needed, clean up was completed, instructions on operating the thermostat were given, and asked if I understood, and some information repeated when I didn't quite get it. A special shout out to Cody, Steve, Jason, Dave , JC and the other two helpers who's name escape me at the moment. Thank you all so much!

I thought Sam did a great job resolving the issue. Unfortunately we left the house right after Sam did. When we returned home the Thermostat was off again. This means that Sam did not clear the water runoff tube enough. So, we had to call for an emergency repair that night. When Ismael showed up later that night he mentioned that he has been clearing out drains for the past week or so. He also said just flushing the system once was not enough. He had to do it tice more. This time I believe he fixed the problem. So, glad Ismael was the one that came here to fix the issue. Him I would give 5 starts to.

We’ve had great experiences with Desert Diamond. The techs Arturo and Daniel are very courteous and professional. I could tell he knew what he was doing. A thorough inspection was performed and a detailed report with plenty of pictures was provided so we could understand what was checked and any potential issues. I’m very impressed with the overall quality of service. We’ll definitely continue to use this company going forward and highly recommend to others. Update: several months after the inspection we had an old duct come loose in our attic, Arturo came at 10PM and fixed it quickly. He was so nice even having to come out so late. Can’t say enough good things.

I had air conditioning problem recently. Timothy was the technician. I was very satisfied with appointment. Timothy took the time and made the effort in helping me. I would highly recommend their services.

I first talked with Steve from DDM at the end of April. Our AC either needed repair or to be replaced. We were also looking at installing a separate mini split system elsewhere. Steve was very informative and honest. We decided to have our AC fixed by the current company maintaining it to try to avoid a big expenditure at the time. I kept Steve's info. On Sep 14th that same AC unit broke down again for a different reason and the repair this time was going to be $2-$3K. The prior repair was $800. This unit was a Rheem. Don't ever buy a Rheem! We decided to replace it and Steve at DDM had what we wanted. A Bosch Inverter Ducted Packaged Unit. According to Steve it's better than a 2 stage AC in that it modulates through its entire range of 3.5 - 5 tons. This means it can run at slower speeds to keep the space at the desired temp more accurately than a 2 stage unit using less electricity. We have solar so that is important. I spoke with two other AC companies back in April to get options, Parker N Sons & Benefit Air. DDM was the only one who had the Bosch unit which was cheaper than a 2 stage trane. Last Friday I called Steve at around 3pm to see about getting the Bosch unit. He worked us into the rest of his schedule that afternoon and by 6pm we were on the schedule for replacing our broken AC the following Wednesday. They showed up in time at 6am to do the job and were done by 9am. So far the service has been good, we'll see how well this Bosch unit fars in our heat and works with the solar system.

We got a new AC from Desert Diamond. From the salesperson to the installers to the quality control inspectors, everyone has been great to deal with, good communication and on time!

Desert Diamond Air save our bacon once again. Air started getting warmer and a week went by before no more cooling. It was 11:30pm before I realized Air conditioner wasn't working properly. Temperature was 82° and no cooling. Called that night and left a message. Following morning was able to make the appointment. It got hot!!! 115° in the house 89°. It took a couple of hours to fix. Actually he cleaned the system, checked everything twice. It needed a little refrigerant, and took 4 hours to cool down.Thank you for great job you do, is above and beyond!

Monday, I needed service on my 26-year-old air condition. I called DESERT DIAMIND AIR and one of their technicians, ARTURO came on time as promised. He quickly diagnosed the issue and replaced the bad capacitor. He then ran a full system diagnostic. He never tried to upsell; he focused entirely on his job. His integrity and efficiency were so refreshing. I highly recommend Desert Diamond Air. Before the next summer hit, I will get my new air condition with that company, a company I trust.

Daniel was great. He did a very thorough job, he was very nice, very pleasant. He fixed some insulation that had come loose. He took pictures of all the work he did. He answered all of our questions and we appreciate the time he took with us.

I requested a second opinion after last week’s monsoon damaged my a/c and called Desert Diamond. They came out immediately, quoted me $1300.00, $2700.00 less than the other company, and fixed the issue immediately. I would highly recommend them. Had problem with blockage and water from condensate leaking into Garage. As well as continues use of AC. Motor noise was corrected and all other issues addressed. It was only 113° F that day and tech did it all in the heat.

They came out quick for a free 2nd opinion, after I didn't trust the first company that quoted me parts and labor I didn't need. They were highly recommended for their expertise with Daikin units, and they were honest with the fix.

Air conditioner started acting up on a Thursday night after hours. Arturo was able to make it out Friday afternoon and fix the problem. He was on punctual, diagnosed the problem and was able to fix same day.

Sales person would not send me an estimate on paper, verbal only, nor tell me what model he was quoting, nor tell me how much materials cost. Absolutely will not do business with this company, even if they are the cheapest, which they aren’t. If I could give zero stars I would.

I just ordered a new heat pump through Desert Diamond Air using the Efficientcy AZ program and they have been wonderful. Chris my sales person was very knowledgeable and we discussed different options. I settled on a Daikin Fit heat pump with an ion air cleaner. I did a lot of research about Daikin and found out they are the worlds largest AC company and they are built in Texas. He and his manager got the approval very quickly and I will have a new heat pump installed in a very short time. Working with them has been a real pleasure and I highly recommend them both. I will be using them for my service as well. If you are eligible for the rebates I would jump on this now because it will soon be over.I have had my Daikin Fit heat pump in for 3 weeks now and love it. It is so quiet which is great because it sits outside my bedroom and I no longer hear the AC unit going on. The Daikin is a variable system and is on much of the time at a lower speed and keeps the temperature at the proper level all day and night. The ION unit freshens the air and I no longer wake up with dry mouth and nose. Much better environment in my house now. I highly recommend this system. It was $1100 cheaper than the Trane one I was interested in and has a much better warranty. 12 years and full replacement of the unit if the compressor fails. I will be dealing with Desert Diamond for my service visits as well in the future. Very good company and employees, and the boss, Joseph as well.

We had an issue with our downstairs heat pump and called Desert Diamond Air. We spoke with Isabelle who got us scheduled for an emergency service. Thank you Isabelle. When Philip Lopez arrived, he very quickly assessed the problem and was able to fix the unit right away. Both team members were very professional and terrific. We are happy to have Desert Diamond as our HVAC service company.

This company is the best! We hired them to replace both of our A/C units about 9 months ago. Their pricing was very good and included much more than their competitors. They even replaced our air intake registers. They needed to cut a larger opening to get the air handlers into the attic, and they had a drywall guy come and repair it with no additional charge. They told us that they would have someone come out before the first year was up and do our first maintenance tune up for free. I forgot about it and expected that they would forget, too. I was wrong! They just called to remind me and schedule my free tune up. Everyone from the salesman to installers to administrative staff have been an absolute pleasure to work with. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!

Everyone from DDACH has been very kind and professional. However, in January 2026 I purchased a home with a 15 yr old HVAC system. Prior owner had maintenance contract in place from DDACH. I purchased/transferred the contract to me. We recently had some remodeling/drywall work done which caused an inner coil to become very dirty, and overly stressed the system, and 2 or 3 important parts stopped working. The necessary repairs were quoted at roughly $3,000. I did not like one specific part of the quote: $450 to clean the inner coil, which I felt was excessive since DDACH was already going to be doing other repairs, and a maintenance contract had been in place for years. Someone referred an excellent, highly-rated company to me, and I had the repairs done for $1,475. The system is running fine. I called to cancel the maintenance contract since it was not providing any value, and I was informed it is a 12-month contract, so I will be charged each month through December. 2 tune-ups a year are included, and I just had one done in June when the system stopped working (tune up was not done since it needed repairs). Even though I have paid 7 months and do not want the second tune-up, I will be paying DDACH for another 5 months for the one I have cancelled.

My a/c stopped cooling on Friday. I spoke to 2 other companies and couldn't get service over the weekend. I called DD on Monday at 3pm and had a tech waiting outside at 430pm. Faster than I expected since they quoted arrival between 5-7. Daniel was very professional and explained the diagnosis thoughly in laments terms so I could understand what was going on. He had cool air coming through my vents in 20 minutes. I signed up for a maintenance plan so I can be teady for next summer. I highly recommend DD for great service and fair prices!

I had to request emergency service on a Sunday morning because my A/C in Sun City West stopped working and it was over 90 degrees in the house. I got a call from Daniel with an ETA and he showed up at that time. He quickly diagnosed the problem and was able to replace the part. Daniel was very proficient, professional and friendly. Thank you!Update: So, this summer the humidity levels in my home has been sitting between 63%-68%. Last year, it was around 51%-55% humidity, which isn't great either. I've adjusted the thermostat to overcool to eliminate humidity, and it just makes it even MORE humid in my house. So, I started digging a little deeper. This HVAC company sold me and installed a 4 ton HVAC unit in a 1523 square foot home. I only need a 2.5 to 3 ton unit, otherwise I'm paying more for electricity and it won't remove the humidity from my house. I've had to resort to using a window A/C unit set on dry just to drop the humidity by 2%-3%, which is skyrocketing my electric bill. I am so miserable inside my own home now. 25% humidity outside. 68% inside. Smdh I'm waiting for mold to start growing on my walls. Not happy AT ALL after spending nearly $12k on this HVAC system in October 2024! Wish I had dealt with a company that actually performs a proper load calculation.

Daniel was great, service cost was reasonable. My HVAC needed a new capacitor…Desert Diamond charged me $499.00 for the capacitor. Attached is a picture of the “made in American” replacement part, which you can buy for about $32.00 at Home Depot or Amazon. Buyer beware of marked up prices if you use Desert Diamond.

Our system is only 3 years old. It wasn’t working at its norm, then started working normal again. Micah was detailed checking everything and things we were concerned about. We are detailed people. Micah was great explaining things, diligent with his assessment, and has a kind demeanor. Thankfully it was a glitch in the thermostat. We will call Desert Diamond Air when things arise in the future. Thanks again!

I called this morning to request check on my AC unit because it stopped cooling, the operator arranged a visit within 2 hours from call. Arturo, the Desert Diamond Air's tech, arrived on time. He was very skillful and knowledgeable, he put his instruments in place and did his tests, within few minutes he have me the diagnosis of the problem and plan to fix it. In less than one hour the problem resolved. Arturo was friendly and professional.

I had a great experience with Johaan from Desert Diamond Air. He came out to diagnose a low-performing AC unit and was incredibly thorough. He carefully inspected the outdoor condenser and then checked the evaporator coil to accurately pinpoint the issue.Johaan was highly professional throughout the entire visit and provided clear, practical solutions to get the system running efficiently again. Our Tech Mike from Desert Diamond Air and Plumbing clean, courteous, quiet, and professional as he performed his PMI on our 3 AC systems. We knew one of the 3 units was struggling and fully expected a hard sale on it needing to be replaced, but were pleasantly surprised with an honest assessment explaining exactly what was going on with 3 different treatment options followed up with an email with almost 40 pictures of everything he checked and repaired during his visit. Truly appreciate the customer service and professionalism Mike and the office provided, so much so that we signed up for a service agreement which is something we never do.

Desert Diamond Air Conditioning had a service technician come out to our home to check out our existing AC unit and determine exactly what we needed for a new AC unit. I dad received two prior bids and one thing right of the bat was the price difference for the same Trane AC unit. They also told me that I didn't need anything else that was deemed necessary by the other bids. The technician was very kind and professional and he explained everything to us thourghally. I am recommending Desert Diamond Air Conditioning without reservation.

I want to take a minute and write about the amazing service and assistance we received today from Daniel Calderon. I called this morning when I noticed the house wasn't cooling (only going to be 114 degrees today). The front office staff was able to schedule a technician for this afternoon. I let them know that I could be available a bit earlier than the scheduled time and they reported Daniel would be aware and would contact me if he could be here earlier. I received a call an hour before the scheduled time letting me know that he was on his way. Once he arrived, he immediately noted the system was not cooling and went onto the roof to identify the issue. He quickly identified that a part had failed and needed to be replaced. He notified me that the part was under warranty and they would get it as quickly as possible with the plan to return in one to two days and complete the repair. He inspected the entire system, identified other issues that were a result of the initial install. He was so thorough, explained everything clearly, identified the potential different costs associated with the repairs (go through warranty or don't), and took the time to make sure I understood the process. I can say, I will use this company and Daniel again - if other problems arise. Thank you, Daniel, for all your help!

While the phone service was good and the technician was on time, the pricing felt incredibly high ($3,500) to repair a reverse valve (as diagnosed by the tech) when the part was under warranty (3.5-year-old Trane). The tech placed the blame on a lack of maintenance, and I felt pressured into a maintenance contract. In my opinion, they were obviously commissioned. Further bids and research revealed the cost should not have exceeded $2,200; I went with Jaycox, as they priced it at $2,100 for a new compressor, reverse valve, and refrigerant—$1,400 less and including a new compressor. I would highly suggest not allowing Desert Diamond on your property, as they price gouge. Getting a second and third opinion saved me $1,400.00.

I experienced extreme price-gouging, dishonesty, ethical violations, attempted consumer fraud, predatorial, age-discrminatory treatment as a vulnerable, financially-indigent Senior citizen whose A/C was out in late June record heat start of Summer June 21, 2026. Diagnostic price was $89 to come out and immediately identify a blown capacitor to replace. QUOTE WAS $685 : WHICH INVOLVES A $39 CAPACITOR THAT WAS UPCHARGED AND APPARENTLY $500 + LABOR FOR ABOUT ONE HOUR OF LABOR. I did not have ability to pay, explaned overpriced quote to Mgr named Dakota. He spoke in " platitudes" about expensive steak dinner pricing at restaurants, profit margins his company needs to maintain, etc. Offered only 10% dscnt which was still way high and could not afford. Total price- goiging of a vulnerable Senior w/ out AC in Summer Record Heat! I bought the $39 capacitor at Ferguson HVAC on W Grand Ave and self- installed from Youtube instrctns: saving about $650 of the $685 even though I am not a mechanic but is eadiest AC fix. Although my mechanic was decent and competent, he is working for a corrupt firm. IN MY OPINION, BASED ON MY EXPERIENCE: MR MOELLER, DAKOTA AND MGMNT TEAM ARE RUNNING AN IMMORAL, FRAUDULENT, DISHONEST, UNETHICAL OPERATION VIOLATING INDUSTRY ETHICS AND NORMS AND LAW.I HOPE TO COMPLAIN FORMALLY TOSTATE ATTORNEY GENERAL CONSUMER FRAUD DIV.When I read feedback from Nick, Janet, others about charging labor time for sourcing parts, return trip that is their fault labor, price- gouging, dishoesty, lack of transperancy, ethical violations: it is a recurring theme of: immoral, dishonest, consumer- fraud violating conduct evidenced. The only 5- Star reviews I see involve customers who bought a brand new expensive AC unit to do a basic standard installation who had decided to make a big ticket purchase and got it installed OK: not regular cstmrs like me, Janet, Nick who were apparently gouged and treated dishonestly/ fraudulently. Atty General needs to investigate Desert Diamond fraudulent, non- transparent, deceptive and high pressure tactics: incldg the guy who got phony capacitor power readings and rplcmnt rcmndtn. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND DESERT DIAMOND TO ANYONE DUE TO LACK OF TRANSPERECY, DISHONESTY, PRICE- GOUGING, PREDATORIAL, DECEPTIVE/ UNETHICAL BUSINESS PRACTICES..I WILL ASK FOR FOR A WRITTEN BILL ITEMIZATION TO SUBMIT TO ATTY GENERAL CONSUMER DIV. Desert Diamond Air is a fine company, and we are repeat customers because of their top-knotch professionals and quality work.

Recently we hired Desert Diamond Mechanical to install a new HVAC unit and also get some insulation work done. Their approach towards the entire transaction was very professional. They made sure that they communicated at each step of the process and also that the insulation work that they had subcontracted to another company was done per the specifications. Steve Schilling who managed the entire process did a commendable job.

I want to personally Thank Desert Diamond air-conditioning and plumbing and especially technician (Leo) for the great service they provided for my 94-year-old mother yesterday. They came on short notice after the original seller and installer of the unit from three years ago couldn’t come out. Desert diamond came to the rescue. It was 114° outside and the original installer stated it would be another day before they could make it out to help my 94-year-old mother. Fast-forward to yesterday and a knock came at the door and it was (Leo) the ace technician from. Desert diamond that immediately diagnosed the problem of a bad condenser. He replaced the part and had the unit up and working again within Minutes. I can’t say enough about (Leo) and his miraculous skills his courtesy his professionalism, his politeness his dignity and genuine likeness for his job. He smiled from the time that he arrived to the time that he finished. I would highly recommend to all my family and friends the Team at Desert Diamond.If you want quality, go no further than Desert diamond so why wait call today and don’t forget to ask for (Leo) as your technician. Exceptional Service from Ian S. and Desert Diamond!I have been using Desert Diamond for years (they even installed my new air conditioner a couple years ago) and they have earned my HVAC and Plumbing business forever. Their latest service only solidified why I will never go anywhere else.Ian S. came out to install a water softener system, Reverse Osmosis system, a pressure regulator and some plumbing rework throughout the laundry room for us, and his work was absolutely impeccable. I called Desert Diamond after a home inspection showed heating unit not working correctly. They got someone out the same day. Phillip was very responsive and professional. He let me know when he arrived since the home was empty, and promptly notified me with his findings. Thank goodness the issue was minor incorrect thermostat wiring, but he explained and fixed the issue quickly. Next time I need a thermostat replaced, I will call Desert Diamond and not use a handyman.

I prayed to God on if I should get another opinion and I'm glad I found this company. Our heat pump was putting out lukewarm heat. I called Desert Diamond Air as they were recommended by a friend. We had a technician out the next day...our old unit had a small refrigerant leak. Luis gave us a number of options from fixing it ($2500) with no guarantee that there may be more issues in the near future as it was already 10 years old to a new multi-level output "smart" unit with lots of bells and whistles ($14000+change). We opted for a middle option (new heat pump/compressor) with 10 year warranty with wifi compatible smart thermostat. Orlando did the installation 2 days later. Ossiel and David helped later in the afternoon. All employees were WONDERFUL. The unit is working great, and quickly and quietly adjusts the temperature as programmed and manually if needed.We highly recommend this company.

We had Tyler come out today to give us a quote for a new update AC unit. He was absolutely amazing. We bought our home i2020 and did not even realize that our house needed additional resturns and duct work due to the previous owners adding on additions. He came in did his inspection he was straight forward with everything that our house needed to help cool it down. He was extremely helpful to my husband and I. Even though I was just on the phone because I was at work. He toom the time to explain everything to me. Thank you Desert Diamond Air and Tyler. I am still waiting on the videos and photos that you said you would send me that service tech did at her house?My mother-in-law had called the company to have her AC serviced. Antonio the tech asked her to borrow a hammer as he went in her attic where he also left the hammer and didn’t return it and then proceeded to tell her she would need to replace her coil for $3500- $4500 because she was losing refrigeration. Her unit is less than six years old. We called on a second opinion the service tech came out and said there was absolutely nothing wrong with her unit. He found the hammer in the attic and returned it to her and charged her nothing. I have since reached out to Dakota from Desert diamond and of course he left me a long of excuses on what the service tech was doing, but they had no quote or information on it from him, why? I take it very personal when I feel like the elderly are and can be taken advantage by companies. I’m not understanding why one company can say she needs replacement of refrigerant and a coil leak when the seal wasn’t even broken? And then another company is saying there’s absolutely nothing wrong and doesn’t charge her anything. Maybe the worker was just trying to make money on the side and the company isn’t aware? I also feel like my mother In Law shouldn’t be charged the service fee Dakota said he wanted to get the information from the other AC company. I feel that’s not fair. I’m not gonna throw another company under the bus.I will be reporting them to the BBB!

Nixa came and did a diagnostic on my A/C while my wife was home. She was very knowledgeable and explained everything in clear understanding, and her professionalism was on point. She didn’t push, she took her time asked and answered all questions and we couldn’t be happier. Nixa is by far one of the best AC techs I have had in my home. She is very knowledgeable, and a very pleasant person to deal with.
