“Desert Diamond put in a new Trane 4 Ton Heatpump in our home March 2022 which they done an excellent job and has performed very well. Last Friday (8.23.24) late in the afternoon stopped cooling. I called in to Desert Diamond and asked Cambria for someone to come take a look expecting it would be the next day. She said there had been a power surge in my area and would get someone over (it was hot around 110 degrees). Daniel was here in 1 1/2 hours. I was amazed. He run some tests on the system which checked out ok thankfully and was running great. Everything was fine. Daniel was very knowledgeable, polite and informative. This is a terrific group of people to work with and they do a terrific job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Desert Diamond is the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!

“Expertly handled yearly maintenance. Outside unit inspected first. Thermostat inspected for correct and accurate readings. Changed the inside filters. Big help! Means I didn’t have to drag out the ladder and do it myself later. No mess, no fuss. Very nice young man.”

“Had my A/C stop cooling on a Saturday night. Got a service call scheduled for Monday afternoon. (Yea!) Antonio came showed up right on time and knew what the problem was as soon as he took the panel off the compressor unit — bad capacitor! Replaced the bad one, checked the other unit as well, and confirmed my refrigerant was right where it should be! Thank you, Antonio for your speedy work on a hot summer day!”

“Luis Martinez came out to do service maintenance on our AC units today. He was amazing. Checked everything. Clean the coils tightened electrical connections and a bunch of other things. Made some recommendations for some work that should be done. He didn’t pressure or try to sell us new units or any scare tactics. We had another company out only days before that didn’t do or spent half the time Luis did and the other company tech only interest was selling two new units using the scare tactics. I highly recommend Luis and Desert Diamond air. Treating the customer fair, honesty and not taking advantage of customers goes a long way with me. Thank you Luis and Desert Diamond HVAC.”
“Daniel was awesome! He worked for our schedule answered all our questions and troubleshooting our air conditioner to find out why it was not cooling our house. He found that it was a duct that had come loose and as soon as he repaired it our house started to cool off! Daniel is very professional and extremely knowledgeable I would recommend him to everyone. “I've been doing business with Desert Diamond for at least 8 years. I cannot say enough about the staff, and the service technicians, especially Daniel M., who was just at my house this morning for general maintenance. I trust them so much that I even do five-year contracts. My granddaughter also has a contract with them. Her AC went out at 11p last Friday night. They came right out and did a great job on a holiday weekend! Great job, great service! I highly recommend this company!”

When done with all testing he washed the AC condensing coil.

The guys at Desert Diamond Mechanical had the best price, quality and maintenance of the five companies that we had give us a bid. From our first visit to our last the guys at Desert Diamond Air were very respectful of our home. They installed the unit and cleaned the air ducts in one day. Made sure I knew how to work new thermostat as it is different – and much simpler – than older one. Appreciated that technician did a great job of using space created for old thermostat so that I have zero touch up to do.”

“Was very impressed with Tyler who was our initial contact. He came over and took a video of the current system in the attic. Tyler explained everything in full detail and made us feel more informed than pressured. We were able to schedule the replacement a/c in 3 days, and the team who came was amazing. They worked super hard thru out the day and was courteous to answer our questions thru out the process. Our units were very heavy and tight squeezes, and this team did an amazing job working together.
A couple days after the install the unit was making a slight sound, and I reached out to Tyler to see if that was normal. Tyler texted back that night and scheduled a check the next day, which I thought was fantastic. Everything with the units were just fine. The company reached out and scheduled a mandatory quality control check to look over the units and to answer any pending questions. All in all we are a very satisfied customers and would recommend this company moving forward.”
“I had them install a Trane system on my house just over a year ago, and I was very happy. So now I had the come out to do a summer maintenance, and they hit me with an estimate of almost $600 to do suggested repairs to it. You would think after spending thousands of dollars on a new A/C system it would not need suggested repairs for several years of use. Not sure about the ethics of them right not, maybe their employees are in performance pay and the basic $99 service charge is not enough for them to live off of?”
“I have always been happy with my maintenance plan; every spring and fall. But this year they more than doubled their fees for the service. I have three AC units and three furnaces. Last year, I paid $400 for tuneups in the spring and fall. I was just told that my plan would now cost $900. This is An increase of $500! As much as I have enjoyed desert diamond (I even used them at my last house), I am forced to look at other companies now. Note – We are no longer in 2020 with crazy inflation and supply chain issues. The last time I watched the financial news channel, inflation has dropped from 9% to 3.8%. How much profit does someone really need to make on routine maintenance?”

“Can't say enough good things about Desert Diamond Air. I was dreading replacing my 18 year old AC, but the process was much easier than I anticipated. Everyone I interacted with at Desert Diamond Air was fantastic. Tyler came to my home, answered all of my questions, and provided me with the most detailed and easy to understand estimate of all 3 companies I got estimates from. A few days later Shawn and Alexandro installed my new AC. They were friendly, worked quickly, and took great care in making sure everything was done correctly. A few days after that, Nixa came by to do the post-installation inspection and made sure everything was in tip top shape. Her attention to detail was top notch. Lastly, Cambria in the office is so nice and kept me well informed all throughout the process.
The new unit itself (Trane XV17) is amazing. I was skeptical of reviews that said "it's so quiet, I can't hear it running." I thought to myself, that's dumb, it has to make noise. But to my surprise, I can barely tell when it turns on. So much quieter than my old unit. Looking forward to seeing how it performs in the Arizona heat.
In summary, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Desert Diamond Air. An A+ experience start to finish. Thank you!”
